| Description | This training will cover the 2008 Title 24 Energy Standards acceptance testing requirements for non-residential HVAC equipment. A portion of the training will be in the classroom and a portion will be hands-on in the lab of the SMACNA training facility. This course is geared towards building inspectors, permit technicians, plan reviewers, and building officials. At completion of the training participants will understand: • The 2008 Title 24 Energy Standards acceptance testing requirements • The motivation behind the acceptance testing requirements • How acceptance testing affects design and specification practices • How acceptance testing impacts compliance documentation • The new responsibilities of the designer and the contractor • The impacts on plan review and inspection In order to facilitate a complete learning experience in a hands-on environment, the class size will be limited to 20 participants on a first come basis. Be sure to sign up early. |
