Welcome to www.calbo.org! As our partners within the building industry we hope that our online resources are of use to you.

As the organization of over 500 local California building departments, CALBO sees our building industry colleagues as partners who work together each day throughout California to create the structures that we all inhabit. As the frontline individuals in the field each day, you design, create, and construct to the building and life safety standards that we enforce each day. As partners, we work together to ensure the safety and sustainability of the built environment in California.

Moving forward with the new generation of California codes has been something that we have experienced together. These new standards have changed much of what we have known, but we are assured that California is now back on track showcasing the highest safety standards available today.
