CALBO Members Bring Building Safety to the Capitol
Capitol Corner Update
Recently, the CALBO community
gathered in Sacramento for our annual Leadership &
Advocacy Day, joining together to raise awareness of the
vital role building professionals and local government play in
protecting communities throughout California.
The day featured legislative and policy briefings highlighting the essential issues and policy proposals impacting building departments, followed by meetings with nearly forty legislative offices at the State Capitol. Attendees had the opportunity to share firsthand how building departments are helping build a stronger, safer California.
Thank you to our members and industry partners who participated and helped ensure the building safety profession carries a strong voice in Sacramento.
