Alternative housing is a common “buzz” word for building departments as the public has increasingly found interest in building smaller homes. Attendees will learn about the standards of and how to approach tiny home construction and accessory dwelling units within 2019 California Residential Code. This webinar is conducted in a workshop format with the instructor and attendees participating in active discussions. Building officials, architects, engineers, plans examiners, field inspectors, and counter technicians are encouraged to attend.
