Now in its third year, the Permit Technician Career Advancement Academy continues to be a cornerstone program of the CALBO Training Institute—created to advance the careers of counter technicians and strengthen building department operations.

IMPORTANT: With only 25 seats per location, the Academy offers a small-group environment where collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth thrive. Alumni have returned to their departments with leadership skills and insights that elevate both service and efficiency.
