This webinar provides an overview of what to expect and verify at permitting for residential newly constructed buildings, additions, and alterations complying under the 2019 Energy Code. An overview of the new 2019 requirements are discussed, focusing on the applicable compliance forms, how compliance should be articulated on plans and registration requirements. Compliance via the prescriptive and performance approach is covered, including new photovoltaic system requirements, increased envelope requirements, HVAC changes, battery storage options and more. Attendees are provided with a background on the changes within the new code. Questions and answers are encouraged for this overview webinar.
