Description: Additional electrical requirements are included with each new edition of the California Energy Code. For the 2022 edition, additional electrical branch circuits must be installed for certain gas appliances so that an owner can more easily replace a gas appliance with an electrical unit in the future. How can the new rules be facilitated through plan review and field inspection? In this webinar, we review existing minimum electrical branch circuit requirements and practical implementation of the new rules. Those responsible for design validation (plan review) and field inspection are encouraged to attend.
