Thank you for your patience with the transition to the new set of dates and programming for our annual business meeting and conference. To take precautions for the health and safety of our membership, while being proactive to keep association business moving, we have implemented the following changes.

When will the 58th Annual Business Meeting take place?
CALBO’s 58th Annual Business Meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 8:30am.
What to expect for the 58th Annual Business Meeting?
CALBO’s 58th Annual Business Meeting will take place virtually in a webcast format and anyone within the CALBO Community is encouraged to watch. An organizational update from President Goei will be provided along with the election of and swearing in of officers. Class I members are requested to watch and participate to ensure proper representation of member interests and the establishment of a quorum. The Nominations Committee will meet to interview Board of Director candidates via teleconferencing the day before.

Will there be an in person annual meeting component?
Yes! There will be an in person meeting opportunity, the 2020 CALBO Annual Conference, from Sunday, July 12 – Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad (San Diego area).
What to expect at the 2020 CALBO Annual Conference in Carlsbad?
Aside from association business, the rest of the traditional conference programming will take place at this time. Programming includes educational programming, panels, workshops, award presentations, BOLA Graduation Ceremony, exhibitor program, annual golf tournament, the themed President’s Dinner and much more. How do I make a reservation at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad?
The CALBO room block rate is $199.00 plus tax per night and no resort fee. Our discounted group rates are available first-come, first-served. Click here for the hotel reservation information and link.
What if I am currently registered as an attendee?
If you registered for the ABM in Indian Wells, there is no need to take action. CALBO has transferred your registration to the conference in Carlsbad and emailed a new confirmation to you. If you have any questions, please contact CALBO, and we will assist with your request.
What if I am a current registered exhibitor and sponsor?
If you registered as a sponsor or exhibitor in Indian Wells, there is no need to take action. CALBO has transferred your registration to the conference in Carlsbad and will email a new confirmation to the individual who registered your organization or company. If you have any questions, please contact Director of Public Affairs, Katie Little, at firstname.lastname@example.org, and she will assist with your requests.
What if I currently have a reservation at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells?
If you currently have a reservation at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells, your reservation has been cancelled and there is no need for further action. If you have any questions or need a cancellation receipt, please contact the hotel directly.
What if I have a flight or travel reservations that I need to change?
Attendees are asked to reschedule their own flights and other travel reservations. Click here for a letter of support drafted by CALBO to assist attendees with cancelling or rescheduling travel arrangements.
