Attendees receive an overview of the 2019 Energy Code HVAC requirements for newly constructed nonresidential, hotel/motel, and high-rise residential buildings. Topics include mandatory and prescriptive requirements related to mechanical heating and cooling, equipment efficiency requirements, ventilation, controls, pipe and duct insulation, HERS testing, acceptance testing requirements, forms, enforcement, and Energy Code resources. Building officials, architects, engineers, energy consultants, plans examiners, field inspectors, and counter technicians are encouraged to attend.
