The Legislative Committee of the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) is considering a regulatory proposal to permit the C-46 Solar Contractor classification to install battery energy storage systems on specified residential units with restrictions and has directed staff to further study energy storage system size, complexity, voltage, and risk. CSLB Staff is requesting the following information be surveyed from CALBO building official members.
