This webinar provides an overview of the lighting requirements for single and multifamily residential buildings of the 2019 Energy Code. The requirements for newly constructed buildings, additions, and alterations are covered. Topics include high efficacy classifications, lighting control requirements, retrofit kits, and changes to the 2019 Energy Code. Building department staff should expect to also learn about the available tools and resources to help them verify compliance with the current energy standards. Building officials, architects, engineers, energy consultants, plans examiners, field inspectors and counter technicians are encouraged to attend.
