Dear CALBO Community,

Thank you for your patience with the transition to the new set of dates and programming for our annual business meeting and conference. Alongside our members and sponsors, California Building Officials has been actively monitoring the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) and following guidance issued by government health organizations. A safe meeting environment and the health of our membership are our top priority.

To take precautions for the health and safety of our membership, while being proactive to keep association business moving, we have implemented the following changes.

• When will the 58th Annual Business Meeting take place?
  CALBO’s 58th Annual Business Meeting will be held virtually on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 8:30am.
  Anyone can register by clicking here at any time – either before or during the meeting. Registration is complimentary. You will receive an email from Go-to-Webinar with the webinar link and directions.
   
• Will there be an in person annual meeting component?
  Yes, and please join us! There will be an in person meeting opportunity, the 2020 CALBO Annual Conference, from Sunday, July 12 – Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad (San Diego area). Click here for the new 2020 CALBO Annual Conference program.
   
• Registration Transfers: 
  All ABM registrants, whether Full Program, Day Pass, Golf Tournament or Exhibitors, have been transferred to the new July conference dates in Carlsbad and will receive a new confirmation email with their new schedule. All fees and rates will be honored with no change.
   
• Travel Arrangements:
  Attendees are asked to reschedule their own flights and other travel reservations. Click here for a letter of support drafted by CALBO to assist attendees with cancelling or rescheduling travel arrangements. If you are attending the 2020 CALBO Annual Conference in Carlsbad, please book your new flight to the San Diego International Airport (SAN) and make a new hotel reservation at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort by clicking here.
