Dear Friend of CALBO,

As you know, our policy committees are the lifeblood of our organization. It’s the greatest way for our members and industry professionals to be a part of our robust organization. We appreciate your interest in CALBO’s policy committees and the CALBO Board of Directors takes their membership and committee appointments quite seriously.

Like many of us, the pandemic took its toll upon many of our traditional operations and functions. Our policy committees have not been insulated from the struggles of remote meetings, increased professional demands, in addition to supply-chain and labor shortages.  We recognize that our policy committees need to be “re-tooled” and “re-vamped” a bit, so with that, the CALBO Board of Directors are going to look at all eleven committees of them ensure that they are meeting the needs of our members and organization.  

If you are currently involved with a CALBO policy committee as a committee member, thank you. We ask that you continue to operate as you are able and willing, and once current appointments, membership and organizational directives are updated and enhanced, we will be in touch. We hope to have greater direction and reappointments in place by the end of the summer.
