Description: As California Building Standards Commission prepares to meet to discuss and adopt the 2019 Intervening Code Cycle, this course will cover the code adoption process and proposed amendments. A review of the advisory committees and their roles are discussed. Students will learn what codes will be impacted and changes along with how to get involved in the future. Students are encouraged to think about how the upcoming changes and the adoption cycle impacts their jurisdiction during the question and answer section of the webinar.
