Venue Guidelines

We have all become accustomed to new health and safety guidelines, which will be strictly followed at Education Week Newport Beach. The hotel will provide hand-sanitizer at the entrance to the property and classroom. Additionally, all hotel personnel are health screened on a daily basis upon their arrival for work to ensure your safety.

Heath Questionnaire

Each registrant will receive a health questionnaire that must be completed prior to your arrival onsite at the Education Week Newport Beach. No one will be allowed to enter a classroom until the questionnaire is completed to ensure your safety, in addition to the safety of those around you. The questionnaire must be completed by the attendee. No exceptions can be made.

The Day Prior to each Course

Along with the health questionnaire, each registrant will receive a personalized link the day before each course to download the instructional materials. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, printed materials will not be permitted or provided to attendees. Tablets, laptops and personal electronic devices are highly encouraged. Internet will be available in the classroom.

The Day of each Course

Attendees may arrive at the Newport Beach Marriott any time after 7:00am. Temperatures may be taken upon arrival, and masks will be required for everyone for the entire duration of their time at the hotel. Your Classroom

All attendees will be asked to select a seat in their classroom, which will follow social distancing guidelines away from others. Once a seat is selected, please plan to stay in that seat through the duration of the course. Masks are required for everyone at all times, including instructors.
